About
Grant Young (he/him) is a 25-year-old writer from San Francisco, who’s currently living in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He is the recipient of an MFA degree in creative writing from the University of San Francisco, where he also graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and played on the baseball team for five years.
He is currently revising a collection of essays about his reckoning with Division-1 baseball’s dark underbelly, including encounters with racism, ableism, and sexual assault.
Grant is also the Founding Editor of Clinch, a literary magazine for the martial arts. He works as a Sports Content Writer at SidelineSwap, trains Muay Thai, and watches lots of UFC.
